Who are we?
Safety + Justice Policy Advisory (SJPA), a consulting firm based in Boston, MA, brings national and international experience to governments and law enforcement agencies seeking to advance new initiatives or reform agendas. Our work is guided by the recognition that the client has expertise in their policy and agency and through partnering and critical listening, we can help them advance their agenda and enhance existing partnerships.
Christine M. Cole, Principal
Christine M. Cole is a self-employed criminal justice consultant and Senior Advisor at 21CP Solutions and currently serves as the Interim Monitor on the court appointed Consent Decree team in Cleveland OH. Christine is an expert in police management, accountability, oversight, governance, evidence-based assessments, and community engagement. She previously served as Vice President of Community Resources for Justice (CRJ), where she led the organization and its Crime and Justice Institute, a division of 50, for eight years. Christine also served as the Executive Director of Harvard Kennedy School’s Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management and ran the Executive Sessions on Policing.
